rldc.who?
Hihii! My name is Rachel, a designer and illustrator based in the United States. If you come from my socials or are new, warm welcomes! You might be wondering what 'rldc' stands for which would be my initials (very original, I know right...). You can find me on most platforms via 'rldc_art' as my primary handle :)
My specialty is illustration, using it in my design work and character illustration. For design, I gravitate towards minimalism and cuteness. This can be seen in designs like Bubz and Circle Japan. With character illustration, my style leans into semi-realism blending with anime-like features. I typically illustrate my favorite characters from various shows and games I enjoy alongside my own characters. I do intend on developing a published story about my characters, Vini and Wren, sometime in the upcoming future.
Throughout my career, I've explored many creative outlets such as photography, film, video editing, painting, animation, motion graphics, and ceramics. My free time is often spent enjoying content from other creatives! I briefly ran an Etsy shop, art is spicy, from 2020-2021 selling anime-inspired stickers, but have recently returned to selling merchandise as a convention artist in 2026.

rldc.sona
I use my persona (sona) 'rldc' to represent myself online :) I originally thought of my sona impulsively, but it resonated with me a lot at the time. My sona made its first apperance in an Instagram reels venting about the struggles of a college student during finals: low energy, hungry, and very sleep deprived. My sona was the embodiment of a typical college experience.
Since then, my sona developed to be more atune to my true personality: a silly, chill person who loves hoodies, jackets and all things cozy. A person who is there to vibe with others, make jokes, and have a good time.

You can always spot my sona with messy space buns, clear frame glasses, some sort of oversized jacket, and occassionally with black square earrings. I always show up when I want to talk to my followers + friends (aka my homies) about various things, but most often expressing my love for them, sharing important updates, or reaffirming my love for Xiao from Genshin Impact (amongst many other characters).
